No mileage or underbody pictures. I'm sure it's perfect.

I know it can be, but I really think $7700 should not be a bargain for a 20 year old truck.
Regardless I’m going to assume that the frame is about to rust apart any day and the owner ignored the recall because things aren’t supposed to rust in Seattle.

A decently clean reg cab, manual, V6, 4x4, 01 Tacoma showed up at a small dealership in my town for 3,999 listed on FB marketplace. I thought to myself” that’s a good deal I should check that out.” By the time I drove by the next day it was sold.

but it’s “low” miles... I’m guessing it’s between 120k and 250k.

20k p.a / over 20 years, bang you upto 400k before you know it
i see 300k miles as being low.

Specifically calls out low mileage ... Omits the mileage ... Typical.

They also specifically say the BODY is in good shape. No mention of frame.

My dad has the same exact truck, minus the cap . And by same exact I mean 6 years ago it looked that good, had low miles, and a brand new frame replaced by Toyota . It was spotless underneath. I’m pretty sure he paid around what this one is asking now.
Today it’s got well over 200k, the back bumper is completely rusted off, and the bed is dented from sliding into a tree with a load full of firewood. It still runs and drives ok at least. It seems crazy to ask that much for a 20 year old vehicle , but given that my dad wishes he could buy another one, I wish I could get one, and I know plenty of other people that feel the same way, I guess it’s just the reality of supply vs demand.
